Updating: sophomore teachers still at Highly Effective Teaming (Paradise Tomato Kitchen) for first gold day. (10/8)
Coach Spiva: PBL
Coach passed out copies of PBL, and group had feedback session.Students are safety supervisors: company is getting written up for safety violations. Floated first PBL as a group and talked about relevancy.
Counselor Update:
- 20 employees/budget of $2000: how much does safety equipment cost, how do they get it, etc
- Uses math & literacy standards, ties into first 2 modules of test
- Few schedule updates still to come.
- Class sponsors!
- Grincius: Sophomores
- Wise: Juniors
AP Update:
- Make sure everyone is outside during class change, please check ISAP list
- Do NOT let kids in 1st period, they need to go to ISAP if they are late
- RR policy: talked about different methods of using the new bathroom rule; will be deciding as a group in two weeks
Discipline Issues
- Points or things to watch: stairwell chaos, walk + talk rule; refer location to Gosset if you see a kid in the hall causing trouble that you don't know
- Tell students who leave before security arrives that repercussions will be worse
- Dress code talk (boys vs girls; degendered)
- Tardies after lunch (Mark students teachers)
